About Dr. Elena Marchetti
Dr. Elena Marchetti serves as Medical Director of InterHealthTour, leading our Medical Advisory Board and overseeing the clinical quality standards applied to all 1,200+ partner clinics on the platform. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that every clinic listed on InterHealthTour meets the rigorous clinical, accreditation, and patient safety standards our patients deserve.
Dr. Marchetti brings over 25 years of clinical and healthcare management experience to this role. She trained as a medical oncologist at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan — Italy’s premier cancer center — and at Institut Curie in Paris before transitioning into healthcare management and quality assessment. Her clinical background in oncology — one of the highest-stakes medical fields — informs the rigor she applies to evaluating partner facilities.
As the public face of InterHealthTour’s medical credibility, Dr. Marchetti reviews all medical content on the platform, conducts periodic on-site quality assessments of partner clinics, and is available for personal consultation with patients facing complex medical decisions about treatment abroad.
